Thank you to all the fans who attended the Mariucci Arena Classic! There were great games against Air Force and Boston College. It was wonderful to see the Gopher support.
Did you miss the games? Never fear, we have a recap for you! Minnesota won both their games with ease. On Saturday 12/29/12, Gophers played Air Force at Mariucci Arena and won, 4-0. And on Sunday 12/30/12, Gophers played Boston College and won, 8-1. This was a hot game because the No. 4 Gophers picked up a decisive 8-1 victory over No. 1 Boston College. This victory improved Minnesota's record to 13-3-3 this season while Boston College fell to 12-3-1.
Minnesota will return to the ice for a home game against Notre Dame on January 8th. Watch for tickets so you can see a great Gopher hockey game!
