Wildcats Rally on Homecoming: Northwestern 29, Minnesota 28

Dan Persa The Northwestern Wildcats defeated the Minnesota Gophers 29-28 at TCF Bank Stadium on Homecoming Saturday. The loss leaves the Gophers 1-4 and 4 straight losses at home. There were several chances to win this game but the Gophers let it slip away, especially after having the ball at the end. The defense surrendered 486 yards, which is way too much. Quarterback Dan Persa threw for 309 yards and ran for another 99. Adam Weber's pass was intercepted with 17 seconds left on a 4th and 11. Next week they play at Wisconsin.

That game was incredibly depressing to watch. It's sad when you almost expect something like this to happen to our Gophs... Brewster's a nice a guy, but so was Mason, and I think Brewster's gotta go :(
