Brewster says Adam Weber is Still the Starter

Tim Brewster announced today that Adam Weber will enter fall camp as the Gophers number one quarterback. Weber struggled immensely under new offensive coordinator Jimbo Fischer. Weber struggled the most once the Gophers lost Eric Decker to a foot injury that cost him the latter of his senior season. Marquis Gray will be the back up. Gray, a sophomore, has more potential than Weber and played sparingly for the Gophers last season. Weber is Minnesota's all-time leader in career pass completions and yards. He needs 1,762 more passing yards to become the fifth player in Big Ten history to throw for more than 10,000 yards in a career. Good luck Gophers!!!!
